[Lloyd very nearly cringes at the sharpness of Uncle's tone, and that in itself is an oddity; usually Lloyd brushes it off with a grin and his usual faith in people. Now, though, it seems like every sharp edge about Uncle is a sign that things are much worse than they should be.]

[He turns to shoot up the stairs leading to the nicest room in the house, unbuckling his swords as he goes and laying them against the wall as he enters the room. The bed is made, of course, but that doesn't mean Lloyd can't make sure the covers are turned down, and the pillows are stacked, and there's water on the bedside table. The room has a window looking out into the gorge, where no one can look in. It's safe, and pretty, and will make a good place to wait out Dad's -- Kratos's -- Dad's -- recovery.

[Down below, Kratos stirs in Yuan's arms at the feel of healing mana on him, the torn and open edges of his shirt revealing the edges of his wound closing more rapidly than his angelic regeneration can currently handle alone. He lets out a sigh of a breath, like his body is too conditioned to dare taking a proper one. His eyelids flicker open, but his gaze is uncomprehending, and his eyes soon fall shut again.]
