[Lloyd all but hovers as Uncle lays Dad down, but a bit further away than he strictly might have in deference to the fact that Uncle needs a bit of space right now. He can barely take his gaze away from the man who's his father, like he's trying to memorise what he looks like in case the worst happens. He'd never really had the opportunity to wonder about his blood father, because Dirk had been such a good dad; but now knowing what he knows Lloyd wants to know even more.
[Especially knowing that Kratos has been chained up in that horrible tower for so long just because he tried to defend the world.
[Still, Lloyd leaps at the chance to help Raine, and it's his first real opportunity to get close; but it's nearly frightening, how unaware the man is, how heavy in Lloyd's arms, the amount of blood that's on his clothes -- the fact he doesn't breathe. The only thing Lloyd can't bear to look at is that awful ragged scar left by Raine's healing, just under where his ribs end. Lloyd supports him as gently as he can while Raine helps with his shirt and cleans him up.
[By the time Lloyd comes back from delivering those clothes to the laundry, Uncle has already come back; and all that's left to be done is wait.
[Lloyd just doesn't expect to have to wait quite so long as they do. Day turns to evening, food is had, and Sheena returns to report that no one in Asgard felt the earthquake. Everyone else makes themselves useful around the house under Botta's direction, or sleeps so they can rotate a guard, but Lloyd refuses to leave the room as long as Uncle doesn't. He does remember the shackles, finally, and spends some time picking the locks to gently remove them from Dad's wrists, before hurling them out the window into the long descent of the gorge.
[Even when Lloyd starts yawning, and Raine starts giving him pointed looks, the most Lloyd accepts is kicking off his boots and sprawling on the other side of the bed. He'll just take a little nap ... just a little one.
[It can't be too long before they find out if Dad is okay. Right?]
