conductingresistance: (it's been getting so hard)

[The day carries on and it's ... more enjoyable than Yuan would have thought, sort-of teaching the Chosen. The quiet when he's gone is peaceful; but Yuan was less irritated by the entire affair than he might have guessed.]

[He never spent much time around children, save Lloyd. Zelos is older, and not quite like Lloyd, but... it's also impossible to deny the responsibility Yuan bears for the position he's in, however secondhand.]

[So he tries his hand at some measure of looking after the boy, which is made especially easy by the fact that Zelos seems to have taken a liking to him. Or at least, the library. He isn't sure which entirely. Regardless, it seems to be working, and as the month goes on Yuan becomes easily used to it. After dealing with repeated requests for high fives from a toddler, this is much easier to handle.]

[And he's starting to become accustomed to the edges of Zelos's mana signature. Yuan only barely looks up from the list of books he's handling when Zelos enters.]

You're lucky there aren't any other visitors at the moment.

[The king and Pope should be keeping their Chosen well guarded-- but then again, Zelos regularly slips them. Yuan straightens and regards Zelos with some fond annoyance.]

Anywhere else, hm. Are they taking up the matter of outdoor lessons again?
