simulsimul: (no light in the darkness)

[Kratos takes the glance toward him as permission for input, but even then he hesitates for a beat before saying anything. This is not really because of uncertainty, so much as the fond contentment Yuan is so obviously broadcasting; it requires a response. Kratos sends back gratitude, and similar fondness, and a little teasing slap -- just to draw attention to the fact that Yuan is broadcasting unaware. Then he speaks to Raine.]

I think it will be best to let Lloyd rest on it, and then we can review tomorrow, and build on what we did today.

[From the sounds of it, their lessons have not been regular, but will likely become so. Especially with how Lloyd takes back his slate to beam down at Raine's gradings.]

Heh. I guess I'm not as stupid as I thought.

It has nothing to do with stupidity.

[This, a bit sharp, before Kratos can censor himself; it makes both Colette and Lloyd look at him with surprise. Kratos softens his tone, and manages it, mostly.]

I was just saying to Professor Sage. It has nothing to do with stupidity; just the way your mind learns. Everyone learns differently, and what works for some won't work for others.

[Colette beams at him, and it's both soothing and painful, that beam.]

Wow. You really do know a lot about this!
