[With the effort thus made not to snap further, when they reconvene it's easier to just focus on reading, though Yuan watches Kratos carefully. It isn't concern. It's a desire to be able to inform Kratos that Yuan was correct, while preventing the majority of the negative consequences of eventually falling over.]

[But he's proven wrong, and it eases, and the routine picks up again with Yuan ever more aware of the faintest nuances in Kratos's posture and expression, looking for the tiny little tells that give him some closer enlightenment.]

[Time happens, and exchanges are more peaceful, if of mildly less substance. And then Yuan has interesting news while at the military headquarters, about the potential status changes of the Tethe'allan prisoners who were sold into slavery as wartime compensation.]

[It wouldn't be much; but it might be something. Anything above outright slavery. Yuan hangs his cloak and follows the scent of food and the sense of Kratos's presence into the kitchen.]
