simulsimul: (of a small fire burning)

[It would shorten the time Kratos has for doing household work, let alone building an olive press. He starts eating, but thoughtfully, figuring out logistics.]

I shouldn't come in every day, at least. There's still the house to be kept. But I should go in and come back with you -- or it would be an extra rickshaw ride during the day.

[There's no way Kratos would make it there on foot, even if Yuan does; and Kratos knows from the map that it's just far enough that the rickshaw is the most efficient means of getting there, without being so out of reach when Yuan decides to walk.]

I assume there's some areas I wouldn't be allowed. Would there still be enough for me to do there to avoid suspicion as to my presence there?

[What he means is, 'would there be enough work Yuan would care to pass to someone else, instead of doing it himself?' Yuan seems to take some pride in performing his own tasks.]
