[You're mine. That's the part which keeps Kratos silent, momentarily with nothing to say; fortunately, Yuan keeps talking. It isn't as though it's untrue: Yuan does own Kratos. But there's something about the words and the way Yuan says it which makes Kratos suspect that he doesn't realise what he did, in fact, say.

[It does prompt a rush of warmth in Kratos's chest, though it's not precisely a situation where most people would consider it warranted. It's just that no one's laid claim to Kratos before. It's a novel feeling.

[But it doesn't sound like an easy solution, and Kratos can't ask Yuan to pay whatever might be necessary for someone's life. Still, if there's a way, with the judges ...]

There must be someone who would like the challenge. I'd appreciate it if --

[Kratos pauses, aware suddenly that they're in public, in fact about to pass into the area with the food and fresh produce. Somewhere not far from here, perhaps on one of the bridges overhead, is the An-hei's stall. He lowers his head a little, a visual indication of subservience, even if what he's about to ask isn't.]

It isn't often I'm able to offer something to the families of those I've killed. If these judges have an alternative ... I would appreciate seeing what it is.
