[It's hours before Kratos can afford to come back to see the prisoners. By that point it's darkening, but camp has been established at the base of the foothill, holding the pass; barricades have been erected, tents have been put up, and the troops are low-grade jubilant. They're still too close to Sylvaranti forces to risk much fanfare, but Kratos authorises a coupon for an extra ration of wine once they've been relieved and are back at the main camp, across the mountain.
[The generator is brought over and set up, low-grade lights are established inside the lines but not near the wall, and shield nodes attached to the barricade to defend against bombardment. The wall is high enough to hide the lights; the lights are dim enough to give the sentries night-sight.
[He takes care of a thousand little managements and spares enough time to get out of his armour and lay down his shield, and stow Ka-Fai's blade somewhere safe. Between Adrasteia and Leda his tent is already set up. Only then does Kratos go toward the first of the large tents where the prisoners are being held, Leda beside him to report on wounded, rations, and number of prisoners. Ka-Fai's regiment did not fare well. The guards -- both knight-apprentices -- salute him when he approaches the flap; he ducks in and pauses to survey the interior and search for Ka-Fai.
[The Sylvaranti have been given cots (mostly for the wounded), blankets (for everyone else), light (dimly luminescent but sturdy lanterns without anything they can re-purpose into a weapon) and food. He does not know their morale.]
