simulsimul: (deceiver of hearts)

[The receptionist is busy scribbling and barely looks up as he points.]

Fifth on the left. Paperwork's in with them.

[Kratos doesn't know whether to feel offended or sympathetic. Not that he's ever worked in immigration, but Tethe'allan prides itself on its ability to efficiently naturalise citizens. This seems slap-hazard in comparison.

[Prided itself, he reminds himself, and follows Yuan down the hall. As soon as they find the room, it becomes clear that Acacius has not yet even been informed of his family's arrival -- as Kratos expected. Sylvaranti immigration seemed to consist of 'ensure they aren't Tethe'allan terrorists or Mizuhan spies, and toss them wherever they'll fit'. Kratos got the impression that immigrants were already assumed to be able to contact any family already in the area, being as they were individual kingdoms with frequent crossover. Tethe'allans, of course, had so such recourse.

[So then: they reach the room, and inside is a two young women and three children, looking tired and a bit frightened and extremely uncertain.]
