[Yuan is not, at this point, the only one who's sick. Most of their people are from temperate areas of Tethe'alla; the ones who are from the mountains are hardier and resistant to the weather, but they're relative few. A cold starts going around. It isn't a danger; but it is an irritant, with a sap on morale as time wears on.

[Yuan is still the worst off -- but that doesn't mean he'll be the only one in that condition, if they're unlucky. Given their supplies, and the significant chance some of their own people will come down more ill than they are, by rights Kratos should suspend at least the use of further resources.

[It doesn't feel right. Yuan may be a prisoner, but that makes him Kratos's responsibility. It doesn't feel right, letting nature take its course, any more than it did when Lirea asked him why he was bothering to expend resources on saving the electrocuted Sylvaranti who'd attacked him.

[Reluctantly Kratos minimises the expenditure as much as his conscience will allow, and hopes the reinforcements get there fast. And, when he next gets the chance late one evening, when all his work is done, he spares the time to duck into Yuan's tent to see how he is for himself, with clipboard and a book in hand.]
