I'm sure I could derive some entertainment from staring at the pages.

[Yuan eyes him right back, wondering if Kratos is going to try to force the issue of lying down and resting, but in the end he doesn't. That's a pleasant surprise.]

[So, too, is Kratos's voice when he's reading; it's lighter than Yuan would have thought. Then again, they've mostly spoken about grave matters, when it wasn't things barked across a battlefield.]

[...Translating on the fly, with an eye to phrasing and mood, is also fairly impressive. Yuan will find something about Kratos that isn't impressive eventually.]

[As Kratos goes on, Yuan grows slightly softer in attitude. Kratos reading means he isn't entirely watching Yuan; he's free of the weight of observation and scrutiny for now, and can give a little more time to just appreciating.]

[Eventually, carefully, Yuan lowers himself to horizontal again, grimacing all the while.]
