[Kratos's strokes are lazily practiced; not leisurely, not so insulting, but he's not really going his fastest, to keep apace with Yuan and observe, indirectly, Yuan's capabilities. It's plain that Yuan learned to swim as a practical issue, not as something for leisure. It's a pity; possibly Kratos can change that. There are swimming pools in the castle's grounds.

[At the end Kratos ducks the surface, twists and pushes off the wall with lazy ease, and starts back. This feels good; a kind of exertion which uses his whole body, but which he can't get in the field. He's breathless by the end, his muscles burning in the good fashion, as he pulls up by the side to take hold and rest back against it, watching Yuan approach with amusement.]

Too slow.
