In that case, what I would suggest is telling them enough of the truth to convince them of your desire to help, but not what it will require of you.

[Her expression is crimped, unhappy. She doesn't like the idea of lying to them about something so important, either; but she kept Colette's secret, and she will keep Kratos's, too, if necessary.]

You will need to release a certain amount, in any case, with the revelation of your nature. Willingly disclosing some things will make others less inclined to suspect you're holding something back.

[This tack, also, bears the possibility that after the crucial moments, when they have all had time to think, Lloyd especially may discern something of Kratos's intent.]
