[That -- doesn't soothe Kratos any. It could be that Yuan has simply realised Kratos is not safe in camp, and intends to keep him alive to punish in a fashion that would assuage such things. Of course, what other means of punishment is there, except --

[Kratos rises painfully and without much in the way of balance. His leg has stiffened up with the chill and the hard ground; if it weren't for the brace, he would not be able to walk even with a cane. Even then, his pace is slow and heavily limping, almost as bad as without the brace at all; all his weight is on it rather than his foot, his leg refusing to hold him on its own merit.
